Help Us Keep Orangutans Safe and Free in the Wild

Less than 14,000 Sumatran Orangutan remain in the wild. If the situation doesn’t change, in just 14 years they will be gone - forever.

Orangutan habitat is being cleared to make way for farming and palm oil plantations. Poaching of young orangutans for the illegal pet trade and hunting for meat also threaten their survival.

Since 2008, we have teamed up with The Orangutan Project to make certain that one precious piece of critical habitat is protected. In the Bukit Tiga Puluh Ecosystem in central Sumatra, orangutans are watched over by the devoted members of the Wildlife Protection Units to ensure they are kept safe.

Together we can continue to provide a safe haven for orangutans.

Please give generously to help protect their forest and freedom.
