Are you ready to say goodbye to an Australian icon?

We aren't.

Koala populations on Australia's east coast could be extinct by 2050.

That's why last year we nominated the koala populations of Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT to be uplisted to Endangered under Federal environment laws.

Soon, federal environment Minister Sussan Ley will be making the decision on our nomination to uplist the koala populations. Please help us by sending the letter below showing your support for the uplisting, and encouraging Minister Ley to work closely with her state counterparts to protect the east coast koala populations.
